Interested in being a part of a publishing team? Join us on Tuesdays in room 325 to see just how we mold and shape student composition and artwork into a literary and art magazine! For more information see Miss O'C in room 325 or Mr. Schwab in room 332.
Perhaps you're just interested in seeing your name in print! It's not a guarantee, but we promise that your submission will be reviewed by our staff, with the "best of the best" or the "apotheosis" chosen as a part of our award-winning publication. If you've got a poem, an essay, a movie review, song lyrics, etc., or a drawing, sculpture piece, photo, etc., submit it to room 325 with your name and a telephone number so that we may contact you. We'd love to see and read your work!
Senior orders will be distributed on Thursday, May 19th; all other orders will be available by Monday, May 23! Staff members are hand-binding magazines now; look forward to an outstanding 05 edition!
Off-campus orders may be addressed to: Lindbergh High School, Apotheosis Lit Editor, Kelly O'Connor, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63123. Order forms for the 04-05 publication are being sent to published authors and artists the week of April 25, 2005. Additional order forms will be available in the 12th grade office or in room 325. Preorders must be made to obtain a copy.
Reminder: The final deadline for submissions has passed. With over 200 submissions entered this year, we thank all student authors, and instructors who assisted in submitting student work, and encourage all to continue writing with the intent to submit more work next year! The Apotheosis staff thanks you!
Note: NCTE state awards will be announced for the 04-05 publication next March, so look forward to results of our state-standing here!
