The staff of the LHS literary and art magazine is a devoted one! Responsibilities of the group are diverse and demanding: submission recruiting, discussion and debate of accepted submissions, art work coordination and formatting, page layout and design, sales and marketing, correspondence composition, graphics coordination, manuscript typing and formatting, hand-made binding, publicity, budget balancing, cooperation, and teamwork.
Reaching our goals for the 2004 publication and setting new goals for this year, our staff is excited to be embarking upon a new challenge.
A writing support group has been spearheaded by our Literary Editor, hosting weekly meetings and unique outings, to promote writers' exploration and sharing of original verse. The group, Writers' Ink, invites students and faculty alike to experience the challenge!
We would especially like to thank LHS faculty who recommend student work to us, along with their own original pieces: Debbie Hanuk for her help with formatting, Dr. Helms, and both the Mother's Club and the Student Council for their constant support!
